[An Introduction to,  “The Cross Examination” series]

In a courtroom, truth is not assumed—it is proven. Evidence is presented, witnesses are questioned, and every detail is examined until a verdict can be reached beyond reasonable doubt. The title “Cross Examination” invites us into that same process—not of a legal case, but of the most pivotal series of events in human history: the journey of Jesus Christ from the Last Supper to the moment He declared, “It is finished.”

This is not a story built on emotion alone; it is a case supported by evidence. From the breaking of bread at the table, to the agony in Gethsemane, from the betrayal and illegal trials, to the crucifixion on the cross—each moment stands as a piece of testimony. The words spoken, the actions taken, the fulfilled prophecies, and even the silence of Christ under accusation all serve as exhibits in this divine courtroom.

As we cross examine these events, we are not merely observing history—we are testing truth. Why did He endure such suffering? Who was truly on trial—Jesus, or the sin of humanity? And what does His final declaration, “It is finished,” prove once all the evidence has been laid out?

This message will walk through the timeline like a skilled attorney, examining every key moment, questioning every circumstance, and presenting the undeniable truth that Jesus was not a victim of events—He was the fulfillment of a divine plan. And when all the evidence is considered, the verdict becomes clear: His sacrifice was intentional, His mission was accomplished, and the truth of who He is cannot be overturned.
